The Club encourages beginners to rent equipment for the 1 ^st day. Rentals can be acquired through a Club discount rate directly from the ski area, ranging from $14 to $24 per day.   After the 1 ^st successful day of sliding down the hill, equipment can continue to be rented or could be leased, or purchased at local Plattsburgh ski shops. Ski/Board Swap events are held during the fall and good equipment can be purchased at fraction of the retail price.  The club will collect for the lift ticket cost and bus ride each week on the way to the mountain.
